Something so cool about bmx in the 80's. I love bmx racing but now days everything looks the same. All the bike look the same, team uniforms look the same and worse ( well sad ) the tracks now all look identical. Its become very boring if Im honest. I'll stick to watching clips from the 80's.

Raced 1984-1988. NBL. Loved every minute of it! The comaraderie was wonderful and such great competition! I still have my Patterson Racing 20" bike. Miss those days.

I'm 45 and ride a 20....BUT...everyone else around me rides 24's and one 22. Tricked out DK Cygnus and Sunday Model C's. There isn't ANYTHING they can't do on them and they are so comfortable and easy on the body. They Monster Truck over things that would face plant a 20 rider. So you can do tricks...or not on a line. Either way you'll make it through.

I ended up with a Predator cro-mo black mags, red tyres, race inc bars, a'me grips, shimano 3 piece crank etc etc...................i still have that pile of shit buried under something or behind a 1977 Triumph..........lol. i gotta dig it out and sell that thing. This cat was a true pioneer
